Dr Michael Ekwemalor,  Engr, MBA, Ph.D
Group Managing Director/ CEO 

Dr. Michael Ekwemalor is a distinguished entrepreneur and the GMD/ CEO of Mase Construction, a multi-sector business group with commitment to quality in engineering, construction, Energy, infrastructure and maintenance. With over 18 years of extensive experience in the industry, Michael has established a solid reputation as a leader in the field.

He is certified in Civil Engineering from the Royal Institute for Chartered Engineers (RICE, USA), and endorsed by the Global Engineering Standard Organisation (GESO). His professional affiliations include membership in the Engineering Council and the High Authority Council of Arab Engineers, underscoring his commitment to the highest standards of engineering practice.

An alumnus of the prestigious University of Oxford, Dr. Ekwemalor exemplifies a dedication to excellence and possesses a profound depth of knowledge that informs his leadership and strategic direction at Mase Construction.

Dr. Abdulkadir Inuwa, PhD

Executive Director, Business Development

A Business and Strategy expert, a scholar who had his tertiary education across various institutions spanning over 25 years. An Alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also an Educational and Management consultant with a range of clientele across public and private sectors With multidisciplinary backgrounds covering International Relations, Political science, Policy, Development, Law, and Business Administration (Human Resources) as arsenals for multitasking and prowess for modifying a given project.

As the Business & Strategy expert, he plays an active role in coordinating activities of the Business and Strategy Division. He was also recognized Globally for his strategies and Human Resources skills. He is married with children.

Kenneth Ekwemalor, MSc, COREN

Executive Director, Engineering

Engr. Kenneth Ekwemalor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he graduated with second-class upper division honors.
He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a Master of Engineering in Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.
With a robust blend of management acumen and technical proficiency, Kenneth is skilled in essential software applications and structural design. He has successfully overseen health, environmental, safety, and quality (HESQ) programs at the Yara Belle Plaine Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant in Saskatchewan, Canada, ensuring that operational standards are consistently met. His responsibilities included spill reporting and evaluation, standardizing HESQ procedures, and securing the necessary permits for operations.
Additionally, Kenneth conducted Life Cycle Assessments of the facility using GaBi software to evaluate environmental impacts.
Kenneth Ekwemalor’s extensive experience and commitment to engineering excellence position him as a valuable asset in any engineering endeavour. Engr. Kenneth Ekwemalor brings this wealth of knowledge and expertise to Mase Group. He is married with children.

Sarah Audu,  MBA

General Manager

An innovative, result-oriented leader with over 18 years of experience in Management. She provides strategic insight and effective communications skills. Sarah is a proactive leader who facilitates a team-based approach to increasing productivity and achieving consistent long-term growth.

Sarah has previously worked with MTN and over her many years at the Management level, she has acquired cognate experience in Consultancy, Technology services, sales, and marketing before she ventured into the construction industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), and a certificate from the United States Institute of Peace on Conflict Analysis. What endears her to us at Mase Construction is her belief that ‘impossibility is not an option.

Umair Nizam

PM Engineering and Infrastructure

Mr Umair Nizam is the PM, of Engineering, with a B.tech ( Civil Engr. ND. India), STAD (structural). He has amassed exceptional skills with over 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction Management in Nigeria and India. He possesses strong English speaking and writing skills including contract and specification with excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks and priorities to meet strict deadlines. He has experience managing projects from conception to completion and demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Femi Adesanya

Contract Manager

Femi Adesanya (BTech, Mtech); is a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology Minna and Master of Technology, Master of Environmental Design from the University of Lagos, with over fifteen years of experience in Interior design, AutoCAD, and Architectural design.

Arc. Johnson Oboh, ARCON, NIA

Director, Architecture & Operations

Johnson Oboh is a seasoned Architect with 28 years of experience spanning architectural design, project management, construction documentation, consultancy coordination, contract administration, and operations.

He has led and delivered commercial, residential, industrial, refurbishment, interior, landscape, and urban renewal projects, combining creative design with technical expertise, construction knowledge, and practical project delivery.

His expertise covers the full architectural project lifecycle, from concept development and design documentation to consultant coordination, tender management, site supervision, and contract administration. He also has significant experience in urban renewal, adaptive reuse, refurbishment, and change-of-use projects, helping to enhance functionality, marketability, and asset value.

As Director of Architecture & Operations, Johnson provides strategic and technical leadership, ensuring that design vision is translated into coordinated, practical, sustainable, and commercially viable projects.

Mayowa Oshiga, ACA

Director, Finance

Mayowa Oshiga is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and finance professional with over 23 years of experience spanning financial management, accounting, corporate finance, and business advisory.

A graduate of the University of Lagos and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Mayowa brings strong financial expertise and commercial insight to the organisation. His experience covers financial reporting, budgeting, cost management, financial analysis, internal controls, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

As Director, Finance, he provides strategic oversight of the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring sound financial governance, prudent resource allocation, effective risk management, and compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements.

He works closely with management and other business functions to align financial strategy with organisational objectives, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable business growth. His professional approach is grounded in integrity, transparency, accountability, and financial discipline.
